DEI = Racism

The Biden administration’s Relentless DEI push continues apace

Presidents used to appoint diplomats to defend the interests of the United States and the public against foreign adversaries. That looks now like a gauzy past. Today, you have President Joe Biden’s appointees, who want to demolish the society they purport to represent.

Sadly, this is no exaggeration. On April 2, Secretary of State Antony Blinken appointed Zakiya Carr Johnson as the State Department’s new Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer to “advance our deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in the Department.”

The fact that the Biden administration stubbornly clings to DEI — the way Obama said Americans clung to their guns and Bibles — is puzzling. The private sector seems to be running away from DEI with as much speed as it initially rushed into the embrace of these dubious trainings and practices.

Repeal The DEI Tax

The adoption of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies at the expense of profit generation has imposed an unnecessary tax on millions of people. Few, if any, shareholders vote to forgo returns to promote social or diversity objectives, yet that’s exactly what’s happening in boardrooms across the country.

Boards form ESG committees with DEI mandates, and management directs employees to dedicate time, effort, and money to ensure the company has set, tracked, and met publicly declared goals. It’s virtue signaling on steroids, and the side effects are lost profits, lower long-term shareholder returns, and a new form of diversity-driven socialism, all of which will eventually lead to higher prices for consumers.

Hopefully other states will follow ...

HB 1291 regulates the training curriculum to "not distort significant historical events or include a curriculum or instruction that teaches identity politics, or is based on theories that systemic racism, sexism, oppression, and privilege are inherent in the institutions of the United States and were created to maintain social, political, and economic inequities." The Florida governor made it clear that there will be "no DEI" in the state during a press conference Thursday and suggested curriculums in violation "could constitute actionable conduct" thanks to this new law.

The mandatory Diversity statements/pledges at public institutions are a problem, too.

Well, well, well….

In announcing the change, M.I.T.’s president, Sally Kornbluth, said diversity statements constituted a form of compelled speech that do not work.

“Compelled speech” is exactly what they are, and that is decidedly un-American.

“They require faculty to endorse or apply specific positions on race, gender and related issues as if they are beyond question, and as if a professor who disputes them is ipso facto incompetent,” the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression says on its website.

Exactly. It’s just bizarre that institutions of higher learning have willingly become party to the nonsense.

Lmao. Harvards president, now 2 out of 6 of MITs "DEI Deans" which were hired in response to the BLM farce have thrown away their careers due to plaigarism. Not a word here and there or a couple paragraphs....they stole page after page of intellectual property from their peers. That has gotta be embarrassing for them and their kids. DEI is actually "institutional racism". Just like "affirmative action". Anytime a person is given a job based on their status as a minority/majority of any type, instead of their aptitude and experience its wrong. Period.

When I board and airplane, or have surgery, or even send my kid to be educated by someone...i am placing a life in their hands. That person in control needs to be there because they are great at what they do...not because of their skintone, sex, age, religion, nationality or any other ridiculous reason. To think otherwise is foolish, yet there are lefties right here on this board that support both DEI and affirmative action.

Ole Inspector Gadget lol. I watched it, but it was definitely 2nd tier like HeMan etc. We were latchkey kids, so i used to get off the schoolbus a solid block and a half from the house and sprint full speed to the house trying not to miss any G.I. JOE cartoon lol. Transformers was awesome too for weekday cartoons but the mackdaddy of them all was X-Men on Saturday mornings. That was the real priority for cartoons at my house circa 1985 ...
