I have been chatting with him via twitter today and he says everything is okay, and he will be back with the team. I didn't ask him anything personal, just told him how much we needed him next year and that a lot of folks are hoping he does well. He said he won't let anyone down. This is good news, being that I've heard he wouldn't be back. V, B(utch).

He said more to than this, but here is a small portion:

Not stalking players on twitter. I've met him a few times in person, just thought I'd share our conversation. People on here have been talking about him like he's gone or something so I thought I would share since it's relevant.

But then again, you guys always seem to have it all figured out so maybe I'll just keep it to myself next time. For a second there I thought this was a message board where I could post stuff like this.. guess I was wrong.

I wouldn't tweet a player, but I don't blame the OP. if the guy is going to respond to you why not talk to him and ask questions if he is going to answer

If he met him in person and knows him personally, I don't see the problem with talking to him on Twitter...

I was wondering what his status was, thanks for sharing man. I was hoping this kid would show up and exceed expectation. We obviously need some secondary players.

Some of you are seriously some first class azzholes. He said he had a prior relationship, so what's the problem with him tweeting Bonner and then sharing his info?

some of these guys need all the support they can get.when i was his age,i needed all the support i could get.a kind word and a kind face can help alot when you're that age.


op i'm not talking aboutyou so don't take it the wrong way.(just don't be creepy about it)

when you talk to him tell him that alot of people are wanting to see him succeed.

I do not tweet at players frequently, but I follow them and sometimes I will retweet them, congratulate them, etc., I believe they know when they play football at the University of Tennessee that fans are going to follow them and tweet at them. If they did not want them to then they would make their page private or not have a twitter. So no harm OP thanks for the information.

What is creepy or annoying is when people tweet at them cussing them or blaming them for a loss, asking for a retweet for all kinds of reasons, or just awkward questions. I believe some players like to interact with the fans and it doesn't bother them.
