The highly anticipated follow up album to the 2000 ground breaking concept album,Deltron 3030, by Del the Funky Homosapian, Dan the Automator, and Kid a Koala was finally released a couple of weeks ago. I've been jamming on it for a solid week now.

It's very solid and is definitely has a sound in line with the original but not as mind blowing. Of course I probably built it up in my head too much.

Favorite tracks No One Can and My Only Love.

I'm kinda of shocked with all the supposed hip-hop fans on here that no one was excited about this album?

The first is a classic.

I absolutely love 3030 but, and I mean this in the best way possible, listening to Del can feel like work at times. I have to admit that I hadn't heard there was a follow up album coming out and I'm definitely looking forward to checking the whole thing out but it's got to be when I can do nothing but listen to everything going on with each track. He has never been the type of guy I could just have on in the background.

I agree. His lyrics are pretty dense, especially when he is in the Delrton Zero character spouting off futuristic sci-fi terms and such. I actually had to listen to the album a few times before I felt confident enough to start a discussion about it.

Yeah, I knew him from 3rd Eye Vision with Hiero when I first found 3030 and was really looking forward to listening to it. First time I put it on I was thoroughly confused as to what I had just heard. Around listen 3 or 4 I was eating it up.
