I posted this in another thread, thought some of you might get a kick out of it.:eek:lol:

He tried to tell me that this will be USC's only down year.

I suggested he do more research on the fact. He responded with "do a little research? Lol you continue to be a stereotypical southerner. #stupid. Talkin to me about my progrAm like you know".

He continued with "we have 70 schollies right now. We are taking 30-35 this year while losing 18. Do the math buddy.looks like plus 17-22 to me."

And my personal favorite, "this is our lowest count we will have. THIS year. U ppl want so badly for the sanctions to destroy us w/o comprehending #facts."

I told him he's an idiot because there's no way they're signing that many, he said, "lol oh we aren't? Is that what CEO and CLK told you? You are proving your ignorance #smartsoutherner."

It's hard to say they'll be down long, but then again look at some of the teams that have improved immensely over the last few years in the Pac-10. Stanford, Oregon, etc. It's not the cake-walk Pac-10 of a few years ago. I think they'll have a winning record every year.

This is why I don't post with SC fans.

I have no idea where he got 30-35 being taken in.

LOL at 30-35. USC is signing a long snapper this year too, still don't understand that.

According to them, They have 25 like everyone else (because of appeal). They are excepting a reduction of 5 scholarships. That leaves 20, however they (the usc fans) are convinced that not only can they take 9 E.E but that they will. That would hypotheticly bring there total numbers to 29 this year. They are also caped to 75 total Scollies this coming year.



This is not what i think it is what they post on Wearesc.com

I knew about the reduction appeal to just 5. Didn't think that SC would get it though.

They did not win any appeal. They will only sign 15 Per year for 3 years. They are hurting big time. It's obvious by their current record. They will be back but kiffin will not be their coach. The SC brass will not put up with loosing for long. Giving up 500 yards a game is not acceptable! It is fun to watch them crumble!

they are hating on Monte and O right now... BIG TIME... The thing Kiff and Co. will realize in due time is that you cannot easily duplicate momentum like they had here at UT. Im glad their gone because I think Dooley is the better coach and the better man to lead UT Football.

They'll be down a full class and a half by the time this is done. Throw in some injuries and they'll be down to practice squad players in a hurry. Either Lane isn't too bright or he thought they'd get out of the Reggie Bush stuff. Didn't happen, now he is in a worse situation than what he had here at Tennessee.

They still have scholarship reductions of 10 per year. However I believe they can backcount a few this year to lessen the sting of the sanctions. I think this is correct but I have no idea how many they can backcount.
