which reminds me...If I sell all my food stamps for crack money once the free stuff from the methadone clinic wears off will I still be eligible for SSI disability brought on by depression over my 15 government funded abortions?

I am for decent, clean living which would eliminate illegitimate children AND abortions. I never cease to be amazed at how little morality is really left in this country. Electing a bunch of liberals who's battle cry is "If it feels good, do it." has probably brought an end to what little bit of decency this country had left.

Sorry, but you're not allowed to be against Welfare AND abortion. You can't make some of these girls have babies they can't afford and then complain when they seek out help.

Of course, that's just one aspect..

These folks that won election "aren't your daddy's democrats" as the magazine headline said. Aside from an early, ill advised potshot at The "U" this morning, 'Billy has been remarkably lucid on this topic today. These new folks are going to operate out of the center, and that means real discourse on real issues might actually create meaningful legislation.

...or a ton of vetos.....

come now, LIO...I'm not sure why you're associating the new agers' creed, "if it feels good, do it" with the Democratic party, but even if it were true, I'd take it over, "if it wears a turban, shoot it!"
