Did anyone watch the ABC News tonight?

Democrats are claiming the town hall protests against Obamacare is all 'manufactured'.

Here is what Harry 'The Jerkoff' Reid has to say.

ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports:

Democratic Senators emerged from their working lunch meeting with President Obama at the White House today confident that they would pass health care this year, comparing the President’s lunch invitation as a “pep talk before the game.”

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) called out what he called the “loud, shrill voices” that have been interrupting town hall meetings across the country held by Democratic members of Congress and members of the administration on health care reform.

“In spite of the loud, shrill voices trying to interrupt town hall meetings and just throwing a monkey wrench into everything, we’re going to continue to be positive and work hard.”

This is like a standup comedian yelling at the audience for not laughing at his jokes and it never dawning on him that he's just not funny.

The WH has come out and claimed this is "manufactured anger"; saying Republican operatives are organizing protests.

1. If true, shouldn't Obama be pro-community organizing to get messages out? I mean that's his claim to fame I thought.

2. The WH needs to be careful here - if they claim that people aren't legitimately concerned about HC reform and the public option in particular, they risk being perceived as more out of touch than they already are.

Aren't all grassroots movements "manufactured," in a sense? Of course there is organization, I mean. Duh.

the democrats are really channeling their inner-Alinsky.

thus far, his playbook is being followed to the letter. fortunately it's having only mixed results at best.

They just keep getting a bigger shoehorn and shoving something like this down wveryone's throat will cost Obama. The effort will cost if he fails. If he succeeds, he is in trouble going forward.

Right now, all the Rs have to do is set back, oppose unpopular bills like nationalized healthcare, and watch the Ds hang themselves.

obama said today rather emphatically that the healthcare bill will pass by the end of the year. this might end up being the best thing obama has ever done (since it might end up with the implosion of the democratic party).
