School me son.

He is nothing like Dane Cook, at all. Not in any rational way is he like him. He is actually the complete opposite of Dane Cook.

As far as ripping Bill Hicks, first I have heard of it. Doesn't matter though, he is at his best whe he is just ranting about sh%t and that is all him.

He is just like Dane Cook in the way that he stole someone elses act but still isn't funny.

every time I cut off someone in traffic I'm singing along to Dennis Leary's "A$$hole" song...

Bill Hicks was awesome. Lots of folks ripped his act. And with good reason. Dude was freaking hysterical.

Let me retort.. Leary was a struggling comic in the late 80's early 90's. Then all of the sudden he found his shtick.. Crazy thing is this up and comer Bill Hicks was blowing away crowds with his dark comedy at the same time.. My reference to Dane Cook is to his obvious "inspiration" from Louis C.K..

Help me YouTube...

YouTube - EXHIBIT A: Denis Leary Vs. Bill Hicks PART 1/3

There are only a handful of originals out there, nearly every black comedian has stole a vast majority of their act from Richard Pryor.

Leary is funny, not a genius by any means, he is more of a character to me. A lunatic really.

Point is, everyone takes from others and puts their spin on it, Dane Cook got blasted for it because he became an easy target. He got way too popular, way too fast for some people. I think his ripping of Louis C.K. and Dimitri Martin's jokes are typical of anyone in the entertainment industry.
