McDaniels could be one extremely big idiot. I mean he had to know that Belicheck wouldn't help him out by giving him Cassel and now he essentially tells Jay Cutler, a very promising, very solid qb, that he doesn't want him? He might not even make it to the Broncos first regular season game. The NFL preseason will be very interesting in Denver.

I don't see why this is such HUGE news today. We already knew that Jay Cutler wanted out of Denver. Now he has just made it official.
I hate the period between now and the draft.

As for Cutler...I could see Detroit making a trade for him. They could give up their second first round pick and work out some sort of a trade.

He didn't want out of Denver until McDaniels started trying to push him out. And pushing out Cutler for the unknown is just stupid. I'd gladly trade Cutler for Jason Campbell if McDaniels wants to do that.
