I don't think anyone here is going to have that answer. DOGE, or someone in the admin, should have that answer.
Right now they are a dog chasing a car, they won't know what to do with it once they catch it.
there is no plan to really account for all of this, include it in the next budget (not this year), and have it as a starting off point for Congress to work from. they should have mounds of paperwork, be able to address all of the comments, and not have huge reporting errors where they are off by a factor of 1000%.
even in a private business audit, they don't just come in and cut people and departments. its financial reviews that cover multiple years, interviews, looking at market direction for demand or growth, consider merits and performance. is it 100% closing a department down and firing everyone. or is there a merger with some good personnel kept on. its not cutting departments responsible for nuclear safety and checking medical equipment.
