Im sure there's ton of waste there. All for eliminating that. Once again, why are we giving defense a 17% increase after they got a 37% increase from 2015/16-2021/22?

layoffs here in the fall, people were called down, told they were being let go, sent up stairs with a box and a handler. not allowed to talk with anyone.

heck my boss didn't know that one of the guys on his team was getting fired until it was already done.

you don't want to give people a chance to make a scene, steal, or mess something up.

I hate Musk because I hate frauds. I turned on him when he proved he wasn't about free speech.

I grew up in the Mormon church and partially in Utah. My whole life has been exposure to frauds. I am admittedly obsessed with the topic. People thought I was obsessed with Tim Ballard. I was obsessed with proving him a fraud because he was one. That thread got real quiet, but before it did, the other side was all about the same false arguments. You're liberal. You're an apologist for [insert problem here]. You're against [insert good thing].

And then when they run out of that BS, they think they can insult me by saying I'm obsessed.

I'm obsessed with this reality where Musk has been proven a fraud and an idiot on dozens and dozens of occasions, and millions of Americans still believe he is a trustworthy super genius capable of anything.

I'm starting to figure out which in the forum have actually been in the real world. My other half has put her 2 week notice in and everyone was on good terms, instant walk out the door not going back to your desk. Either wait outside for your stuff or we'll get it to you... its actually happened at two places. 2 week vacation but yeah nothing unusual.

We will see at the end of the day, but I'm sure as hell glad somebody is trying to take out the trash that's been accumulating for a long, long time.

That wasn't me, I clarified, the one guy put "wholesale" which I did respond to but no I never said that but it might have looked like it because I was responding.

It is generally speaking, I think he is referring to the guy that said the "cost" or "whole sale cost" or similar to the business should also be displayed, that is not required that I have ever seen. It doesn't seem practical on most levels even. I think that is what he is getting at.

Love how "countless evidence presented" became "we will see at the end of the day" when the countless evidence didn't exist

As a generalization what you said is actually the law if we are talking the cost of the product/service, the issue we were talking about was the one guy said he thought the actual cost of the good or service should be available or displayed. I think we all kind of piled on, but yes, it did look like I was confirming what he was saying as one post was a reply to someone that had I think "the whole sale" price so it might of seemed like I agreed.

That seems like a heavy burden without doing much for the consumer, imo.
