Department of Government Efficiency - DOGE

A distinction without a difference because if the administration then -in-power thinks the state or locals are at odds with them, their DOJ is going to sue.
It's a distinction with a massive difference, whether you want to admit nuance in your comparisons or not.

It's the President's (and his DoJ's) job to see that the law is implemented. So, to call that distinction "without meaning" seems odd.

Still my favorite one so far though.

Test that theory and take note of the results.

The fact that you're posting about and getting off on how mad some random weirdos are about Elon rather than something meaningful says a lot.

The emperor has no clothes, but at least that pisses some people off, I guess.

Cope harder. This is all bad news for the party of corruption, treason and grift. Democrats will not survive this long term.

You have to admit that it's notable and worthy of discussion that federal law enforcement is finally concerned about liberal crime again.

By your logic, the Trump administration's change in the way it interprets the Biden's administration's prior reading of any given statute must be ignored and we must go back to Biden's interpretation.

You're claiming that there were no immigration laws on the books? That Biden was implementing them? That suing local governments for trying to insulate themselves from Biden's illegal immigration policies is the same thing as Trump's DoJ suing local governments for trying to subvert implementation of those laws on the books?

And I see that you're taking cues from Luther and hiding behind relativity.

Meanwhile while the (VNMSG) Vol Nation Marxist Study Group seethes and copes.....

I'd like to say it will get better for you guys, but the Epstein list is gonna drop, and likely Diddy list too...so....probably not.

...the VA administrator literally walked back the entire process, asking for cuts to be paused because they're "terminating" critical contracts. If you're cool with VHA facilities having to pay double market price for supplies, or continuing to half to throw away stuff that expires, good for you. But cutting a handful of contracts adding up to a couple hundred million over 4-5 years and losing access to probably a billion a year in savings seems silly, no?

"Burn it all down" is well and good until it costs you more in the long run. But that's the way of America these days, I guess. Perhaps you are one that needs access to the burn pit support, considering the brain damage it apparently left on you?
This whole DOGE exercise is going to cost more in the long run for the whole government. Perhaps I just missed all of your other posts railing against cuts at other agencies which are just going to waste taxpayer money in the long run and I am wrong in finding your response to the attack on your agency/contracts funny. Unfortunately, that is the not case and you are just trying to defend your agency like all other NIMBY people.

Classy look with the personal attack at the end there.

Funny to me that conspiracy guy sees no issue with an unelected billionaire heavily influencing policy through a "department" that kept responding with "we can't tell you" when asked who's in charge of it

It really is hilarious. The people who trust nothing trust the most compromised situation ever.

We didn't know who was in charge from 2021-2025 of the whole thing, did you have an issue with that? DOGE really doesn't have any real authority other than the powers already granted it by law or via the EO.

The only one in the executive branch elected is the President.

Have you considered doing a FOIA, of course, we're still awaiting the release of the Seth Rich laptop via FOIA.

You seem very easily confused.

1. It's not "my" agency- my job, salary, what have you are not impacted at the end of the day, as I pretty clearly said.
2. As for the bolded, why would I rant against something like USAID being cut? That's not benefitting Americans in much of any measurable way; the VA in many cases is, and there are indeed projects within federal agencies that are designed to streamline and make long-term cuts (many of which are being cut themselves right now, for the reasons I laid out- please learn to read). Private industry runs these types of projects and analyses all the time.
3. "Burn it all down" is pretty much an insulting mess to begin with; if you're not actually interested in discussing the things I've brought up, why are you here? Is your assertion that it is unreasonable to have concerns about how things are proceeding, especially where it concerns a general population that actually ought to have some support as part of the societal promise we've made to them for their service?
4. I'm not worried about class, nor have I ever been. I am talking to you the same way I talk to every numbskull that thinks he's an expert when he's actually a non-contributing idiot.

You seem to think that laws are 100 % objective and indisputable such that there is no room to interpret them or to disagree on what wording means. You are grossly mistaken.

What is hilarious is the consitancy of both of your bad character assesment. You continuely flock to those with the worst integrity, while accusing those with the best character of the things your heroes are most guilty of. Most of the Nation loves what Trump and Elon have done, but you make billionaire into an accusation, when did that start? Why did you not care about Soros as a billionaire monkeying in politics (and un elected) for years now? No need to answer..we all know.
