Mason gave us fits at Vanderbilt and he can continue recruiting the mid state area.

I was talking to a Vandy fan about it yesterday, he thought Mason was their worse coach but I pointed out Woody ball and the distant past. At least he made 2 bowl games at Vandy although he never had a winning season.

That being said, Vandy had a slow fall under him. Kind of reminds me of Holly Warwick with the Lady Vols. She wasn't terrible if you look at her overall record but there was a clear year after year dip going on with her coaching. You had same situation with Derrick Mason at Vandy, they were getting worse every year.

MT AD is as bad at hiring coaches as Dave Hart was. They should have fired him before they hired a coach.
