DeShields should be Player of the game

Really, once again, DeShields is passed over for player of the game. Because Holly doesn't like her fast, quick, go for it play, she gets passed over every time. Look at the film. When did the game change? WhenDeSheields quit throwing the ball around in the Lady Vol circle and went for the basket. Time to get real. Nares is a great player. It was a great last shot. The POTG is all around. DEShields 20 points, Nared 12. Waiting for the other stats.

Also DeShields had 6 rebounds to Nared's 5, 4 assists to 2 for Nared. 3 blocks for DeShields to 0 for Nared. Also DeShields played less time and spent a part of 2nd quarter on the bench. Love Nared. She just wasn't POTG.

Are you suggesting Holly tells MD (or whoever in the media) who to pick for player of the game? So what if she does? Chill out and enjoy a nice victory. There is no conspiracy to hold DD down.

I have seen perhaps 2 dozen of DD's games in the last year and a half and this is the first time i have seen her hustle like she did tonight.....

Don't know where the Diamond we saw tonight has been all this time.... only 1 turnover...

We need to see the Diamond we saw tonight all the time.

Players of the game are Warlick, Nunn, Reynolds, DD, Russell and Nared. This was a team win

DD, I challenged you to play at the ambition-level you played for us in GA,,, You're getting closer.

Tonight I saw growth in you. . . You WANTED to slam that ball down on that piss-poor call by the stripe,,. But you didn't. You held back on something that would have been a T.

Much better, Kiddo.

That's growth.

If Diamond would play like all game. Tennessee would be hard to stop. Its just the whole team looks like they take plays off. When we came out after the 4 min timeout. The girls stopped pressuring and moving. They just stood around on offense. Great win. But these girls can go far if they would play with heart the whole game.

I'm curious, just when and where did you make this challenge to DD ?
I could be mistaken but are you taking some credit for how Diamond played tonight ?

That is what defines a real superstar.



And no I don't take credit for her play, but I do think I pushed the right button.
