This program is in better shape going forward then when Kiffin left. Dooley restored integrity back to the program by keeping us out of NCAA trouble, and there is depth on the roster. Winning some games these past few years would have been an added bonus, but there is a reason nobody else would take the job.

So whether it's Gruden or not, in the next month we will probably hire a coach that wouldn't have given us the time of day three years ago. And if it's the "right" hire, I expect us to be competing for an SEC championship in the near future. Either way, we are not as far off from being respectable as it may seem today.

Only thing that I can see better this time around is the timing which was terrible when Kiffin left.

Alot of BS above. We haven't had three losing seasons in a row since before the Titanic sank. The program is a dumptser fire right now and it is nobody's fault but Derek Dooley's.

41-18 is much better than before Dooley got here. Not to mention the Akron and Troy games. I appreciate you trying to give him some credit but the football program is clinging to life right now.

Yeah, we're in great shape. We've gotten worse results every season Dooley's been here. We're getting out-recruited by Vanderbilt. We just got blown out by Vanderbilt. Great foundation there.

Roster isn't better. He didn't hire the AD and the boosters paid for the facilities. Nice try

Sorry dude, you're wrong.

Roster is better. Because they don't play to their potential is on the coach, which is why he got fired. Even if we lose our star players, we'll at least have a sizable senior class next year.

Who hired the AD is irrelevant. Hart>Hamilton

Who paid for the new facilities is irrelevant. The fact is we have them are they are some of the best in the country.

Apparently you think I'm here to defend Dooley. Nothing could be further from the truth. He got exactly what he deserved, albeit too late in my opinion. All I'm saying is that the situation at UT, because of the efforts of the boosters, the AD, the team, yes some credit goes to Dooley, and the university, is better than it was three years ago.
