IMO, Evan Woodberry has done an outstanding job with this 9-part series, with lots of good info. Some interesting stats including the % of total snaps our returning linemen played last year: DL 28.3%, OL 7.3%.

* Quarterback battle is wide open

* Running backs will lean on Marlin Lane, Jalen Hurd

* Receivers will face competition from new faces

* Vols will have more options at tight end in 2014

* Offensive line starting anew, but Marcus Jackson could help ease transition

* Defensive backs will face fresh competition for jobs

* Linebackers will be helped by return of Curt Maggitt, A.J. Johnson

* Defensive line will be deep, but very inexperienced

* Specialist spots have vacancies after Michael Palardy's departure

Second, CBJ & Co. have done one hellofa job getting some solid recruiting done, which was BADLY needed!

QB and kicking game maybe the biggest question marks, followed by OL????

Will be nice when the coaches can ask
"Who is the BEST fit at this position?"
As apposed to "Who the hell can we get to play at this position?"

It's gonna be a very interesting spring and fall on The Hill!

I think it's safe to say we'll see him at both positions. LB on 1st/2nd and off the edge on 3rd and passing situations.

Yes it will be nice WHEN bUTch can just reload. But it won't be this year, or even next. Fans gettin on here an hollerin "No excuses!" is like goin to McDonalds sittin down an demanding a waiter. It will take at least 3 full recruiting classes along with bowl appearances to get there. But all indications are we can.
