Man that was worse than a football game. I guess i drove around for 45 minutes trying to park. Every lot around the arena was full, and every lot around stokeleys was full. I ended up parking behind neyland stadium on neyland dr across the street from the old Tennessee Grill. We already had tickets but they were trying to sell those things for $60 a piece in front of the ticket office. By the way does anybody else love the music the team is introduced by. METALLICA, ENTER SANDMAN

Parking was a pain, but well worth it. We ended up at the utilities building past frat row.

As for tickets, we got 4 for $80, front of the upper deck, really not bad at all. There were plenty going for $20-30/piece. That was, however, right at gametime, so I can't speak for the price earlier.

Again, GET TO THE GAMES! It has really eased the pain caused by the football season.

They were offering free parking and a shuttle from the Ag Campus... pretty decent deal, of course, I then walked back to leave.

My question is did anyone have any problems leaving b/c of that wreck they announced? I live off Concord, just on the other side of Kingston, so I didn't have to get on the interstate... but ALcoa Hwy looked clear... ???

I meant to check the news when I got home to see what all the fuss was about, and forgot. I haven't talked to anyone that knows anything about it tho.

That pissed me off. Everyone leaves the arena to beat the traffic. What happened to watching the win, and cheering your team on in victory??

I'll tell you one thing, you won't see us students leaving early. Especially those of us who wait for over an hour before the gates open to get on the front row. We'll be there at 4:30 for the florida game.

maybe cause some of them lived 5 hours away and didnt want to wait an extra 2 to 3 hours in traffic? I proably would have left also, from what a heard on the radio it was a very very bad wreck, the game was already in hand, and its not like they have to stay, i mean they PAYED for there ticket, UT didnt need them there anymore, they already handled there buisness...

I'll be there early to get a lower deck seat, but the "Rowdies" :)puke:) section doesn't really fit my personality. It's great to see you guys down there Jwells. You guys keep up the good work, and we'll fill the rest of the seats! :D It was funny to see the ushers sending all those kids to the upper deck /w 30 mins to go before tipoff... also the pep band has doubled in size! All good to see.
