I was at my daughter's pre wedding event at Gamecock friends' home so that game was the only one I could watch.

They didn't look great against a middling Georgia State team except for the two blocked pints for TDs.

Their O line is terrible. Rattler ran for his life on almost every passing play.
Their run game is mediocre at best.

Their defense is good between the tackles but lost contain a bunch.
Their pass defense is probably their best unit. They broke up several long passes and defended mid range crossing routes well.

Their PAT unit blew and extra points.
Their punter is outrageously good. A couple of very long punts with zero returns.

If things don't change before we play them, we'll stomp them.

Yes, I was in between that game and UF/Utah. They definitely didn’t look great to be honest. But I think I’m actually going to give more credit to Georgia State than take credit away. There’s definitely some NFL players on that defensive line. Now where this can get messy for South Carolina is just about every SEC DL has NFL players on it.

How did Tucker Gregg do for Georgia state? Actually coached him in middle school. Was a great athlete then.

I didn't see him.a lot. The Panthers' run game was OK but could have been better. They wasted a lot of plays running between the tackles on 1st and 2nd down. Very predictable and made easy stops for the Carolina D Line. That line is big but doesn't move laterally very well. Running right at them all game isn't smart.

Let’s hope so. At least we’d get some entertainment value out of it.
