that as bad as we have played all season - the one thing that has been fairly consistent is that we seriously injure the other team. There is no doubt in my mind that both FL and GA would have had a different season had they not played us and gotten the injuries they did. Then last night (though we couldnt seem to make anything of it) vandy players seemed to get hurt everytime they smashed into our guys.

Dobbs did not play well but I do have to give him respect for getting up all those times he got hit. Wild thing is sometimes the guys who hit him (like the one who hit Dobbs on the run and flipped him) were the ones who were slow to get up.

So while we couldnt seem to win this season - we did stay relatively healthy and for many teams, a victory against us was their Waterloo. Anyone else think that was odd?

Tenessee is starting to play physical again and it's showing. I only wish our defense had a little more to show ( statisically) for the improved effort this year.

If only it were like baseball and we got about three or four games in a row. We'd probably win more than we lose in a series after we pummeled them in the first game.

We're celebrating injurys instead of wins now? Wtf

Not saying we are celebrating them - although I am celebrating that, for as many injuries that other teams had when playing against us, we had relatively few - EXCEPT in the QB position.

It almost is like several teams that played against us won only a Pyrrhic victory - sure, didnt slow some (bama, etc) but destroyed other teams seasons. Seems like we are playing more physical at least and our guys are tougher (if not terribly talented) Wondering if that has anything to do with coaching.

Conditioning is key. Something Dooley didnt believe in.
