Tillman maybe? He had a couple of nice catches, and nice moves after the catch. Wright ran hard. McGrath didn’t miss. Paxton Brooks punted out of our own end zone.

That’s pretty much it as far as I saw. O-line didn’t protect Hooker, Hooker missed the deep balls, but the receivers also didn’t even attempt to reach out and get them. D-line/LB’s couldn’t stop the run or get to the QB, secondary got torched.

So who played well? I think I would feel better if the consensus was that we all played terrible.

I'll say the LBs actually played well. Banks, Mitchell and Beasley combined for 13 solo tackles and 3 TFLs, and Bumphus had a nice day with 2 TFL and a forced fumble.

We needed to get more pressure on the QB, so that part wasn't good. Secondary was really not that bad outside of 2 or 3 plays. They gave up the big plays which is something they've been great at not doing all year. We're going to have to figure out a hot route for Hooker when they pressure. Chip block and then run out into the flat to discourage them from bringing so much pressure. That or let Bru or Tillman try to make more one on one catches on some fades. The pressure is what killed us yesterday on offense, and Hooker just has to get rid of the ball quicker.

Hard to protect someone for 15 seconds.

According to Shirley, I played well after she shook me out of my early dinner meal. I trust her judgment.

Jeremy Banks is always around the ball making plays. As poorly as our offense played I say the defense held up pretty well overall. If before the game you told me Dawgs would only score 27 I would think we won by two or three scores. I think the crowd got to our offense.

Thought the D line played pretty decent. Game was really came down to their secondary being so elite that enabled them to bring obscene amounts of pressure. Our secondary wasn’t good enough but they are improving at least

Their dbs and linebackers tackled really well in space too. I remember one play where Wright ran for about 6 yards. It was the kind of tackle that he’s been breaking in just about every other game. Georgia defender just clung on though, and kept it a 6 yard gain instead of a 15er or something.

They only scored 27 because of the weather and they stopped taking chances. Georgia knew we couldn't move the ball. They could have scored 40 yesterday

Defense in the 2nd half. GA couldn't do anything.

I was happy with Chase McGrath; thought he bounced back in a big way in a high pressure situation.

The defense played well enough to win against any other team we play. If you'd told me we'd have played as badly as we did on offense and special teams I'd have predicted a final score of 56-13 instead of 27-13. We forced some turnovers and they had to punt 4 times. It was ugly at times on D but we've looked much worse against worse teams this season.

As good as Slaughter played against Kentucky, he was that bad against Georgia. He had a very rough game.
He played like a safety playing his second game at corner. he hits hard like a safety, but got lost a couple of times on crossing patterns. Was it just me, but did the three headed monster of the Georgia tight ends have a big effect on the game with the ball in their hands? i looked back at the stats and it appears the D tried to take them away with a good deal of success. The TEs were what most on here were the most worried about. Brock Bowers only had 34 yards of total offense and Washington had 0. At least that seemed to be OK.
