At halftime of the Louisville vs Villanova game they discussed the Tennessee Kansas game. Digger Phelps kept calling us Memphis, no respect. But the video they showed in the Tennessee locker room after the game was awesome. BP was asking the team who was the better point guard tonight, Maze or the kid from Kansas cant (remember his name), anyway, the team went crazy and started singing its great to be a TN Vol, was great to see.

sherron collins is Kansas' point guard.. he's a great player and is gona do good things in the NBA but i completely agree Bobby Maze looked awsome in this game better than collins if he keeps it up i think we could seem him land with an NBA team.....

I saw it on ESPN... they said nothing but good things about us. They commented on how much fun the team was having in the video. Specifically mentioning the intensity that the team played with and adding that they feel the team is capable of keeping it up.

Digger Phelps confused all the teams in his sentences. Saying Kansas did something when it was us. Saying Memphis when he should've used Kansas. I couldn't figure out what he was talking about?!?! ha ha... glad to see I wasn't the only one.

Digger's had way too much Irish Whiskey...or Irish martini's or whatever else their serving at ESPN. Without the makeup his nose is likely larger and more red than Rudolph's!

They just showed the guys singing again on sportscenter while showing the coaches poll love it, finally some good press for us.

So the gators singing 'it's great to be a f'n gator'... Is that just a rip off of our cheer or did we get it somewhere else too? Every time I hear that it make-a-me seek.

It originated as a cheer and you know how that goes, one cheer team copies another and so on. I doubt the origin can really be traced.

but look at what happened we lost to purdue and dropped 5 spots in the polls and then we dropped 2 when the dumb 4 got arrested then we beat the number 1 team they drop to 3how pathetic and we are 8 and 9 ,i will say this if we were ranked number1 and lost we would drop out of top 10.i know we really dont want them ranked to high they may get to good for theirselves to play hard and suck it up

I Posted about it in another thread already, but that gave me chill bumps. I can't help but think these 9 guys learned a life lesson here, and regardless of their ultimate W-L, as I highly doubt they can win the Title. 9 of our own just took steps towards becoming men in front of us, gotta be proud!
