Did Kiffin have open practices?

Just curious...was reading article in La Times about him wanting to shut down open practices at USC and he was quoted

"When I first got here, I wanted to shut practices completely down, no media allowed, the way it was done at Tennessee, where we never had problems with injury information," he said.

Some reason I thought he had open practices with the media, probably with the stipulation that they not report anything specific about what they saw....anyway I coudn't remember the policy then and thought someone on here would know

Looks like Kiffy is drawing attention to himself. Much like at UT and against what he said he had to do at SC. He just cant help it.

Found an old article on GVX - "Under Kiffin, spring practice and preseason scrimmages were open. Fall practices were open for approximately the first 20 minutes only to the media"

That boy needs to keep his lies straight!!
