I just received an email from my grad school alam mater, Campbell University, inviting me out to meet their soon to be introduced new head coach. Email reads:

"He comes to Campbell with an impressive college and NFL player resume, as well as recent Division 1 coaching experience. He's a perfect fit with Campbell's faith and values, and desire to sustain a winning program."

Campbell is a small private Baptist college in southeastern North Carolina, and have only had a football team for 5 years or so.

It's a stretch I'm sure, I just thought it played nicely with the latest tweet from what is supposed to be Dooley's twitter.

If it is, I wish him the best. :good!:

It is referring to the coach as playing in the league, not coaching.

And the hire is Mike Minter who played with Carolina.

Ah, perfect. I don't live near there anymore and wasn't going to make it out for the event. Thanks for the answer. :good!:

IIRC Minter coached at a private HS and sucked at it. He's caught the Camel by the toe I suppose.
