Has anybody heard anything negative from the football recruits that attended the UT-UF game? I'm sure that they all got a horrible impression of UT football. I also see that we picked up no commitments and that tells me a lot. Any news would be appreciated.

If it were me and I was a commit, I would take it as a challenge to come in here and help turn things around. If you want a blind homer fanbase, then right now UT might not be the place for you.

Man i'd wanna go somewhere where my team could compete for championships. TN right now isn't where I'm looking

put a product on the field that deserves the attention then 30,000 people won't leave

Some people have said Nunes might look around.

Really? Have you seen any sources saying that or have you just heard from people upset about the loss saying that he should be looking somewhere else? Just wondering

Also...

....What fanbase were you watching? It looked like over 1/2 of the 100,000 fans left at halftime; i think that's kinda, you know, like the opposite of homer

true, and i can understand that. But to the recruits it looks bad b/c in their view they have to question what's going to stop these fans from deserting me if I have a really bad game?

again: played poor, i know. But still looks bad to players

From all the info i've read on rivals we're still sittin' pretty good. Stokes, Giles, Wiliiams are still commited and we are now Oku's Favorite it seems. We also impressed Devonte Holloman (clemson commit) who is one of the top safetys. Seems everyone thought we just had a bad game. But the mass exodus by the fans did not help. Hopefully Nunes will stick.

If I were Nunes and I saw Crompton play than I would look around too. I would have to think there wasn't much coaching going on and not much chance of getting to the NFL.

If I were Nunes and saw Crompton playing that poorly I would be even more excited to come to UT and see immediate playing time. Most recruits look for immediate playing time and a college's abiltiy to put them in the NFL. Right now we offer both.

Most kids wanna play for pre existing winners that are bowl bound and frequent national championship contenders. Very few nowadays say to themselves...I wanna be that ingredient in the recipe that makes a team a winner. I agree though, we need those type players, after just watching the 89 Auburn game we used to have that type.

To me, that was the icing on the cake on Saturday. I kept wondering how those recruits were thinking.

Exactly, if he went to a Florida, he might see playing time his junior year. With our QB's, he might start the first game of his freshman year.:eek:lol:

Although losing never helps. It doesn't affect recruiting as negatively as you might think. Kids don't hang their hats on wins and losses. But if the downward trend continues some will look elsewhere.

a new restaurant opened in our town, so my husband, walter, and i decided to try it. As the waitress took our order, walter asked if the coffee was fresh. "i'm sure it is," answered the waitress. "we've only been open two weeks." 白癜风治疗是白癜风医院最主要研究课题,有着多年白癜风治疗的邻床经验,研制出了多种治疗白癜风的特效药物。突破了白癜风不治之误区。the vitiligo pamphlet vitiligo is a skin, an introduction to vitiligo by the vitiligo society.其他病例:肿瘤,乙肝,心脏病
