Did you watch more games of other teams this year?

I think I watched more games in general this year, definitely watched more games that did not have Tennessee in them. The other thing that was different this year was rooting for other teams that I would never root for. Florida, there I said it.
Was definitely a different kind of regular season. Was fun to see though.

I think when the Vols are relevant that it’s easier to be more engaged overall. I wouldn’t care who was in the playoffs (nearly as much) without the UT participation.

Definitely, just the idea of a team winning or losing affecting our season had me watching Weird games I wouldn’t ordinarily watch. Like Boise/Oregon State. Miami/va tech/louisville, Arizona St/Arizona

The argument that it would make more games less important was always a very dumb argument. Yes, it made a few games lower stakes vs previous years, Bama-Ga and OhioSt- Oreg come to mind. But both of those games had overflow crowds and huge ratings, and the truth is that for every one of those type games there were a dozen others that were made MORE important vs previous years.

Didn't watch "more" but different teams. Hypothetically, if I had a choice, I'd watch ND/NIU instead of KY/Miss St.

Yep, 'twas a throwback season in that sense. When the Big Orange are really good and the stakes are high, you want to find out how the outcomes of other games impacts our fortunes.

I probably watch more games but fewer actual minutes of any single game. I wear out my TV remote flipping between games.

Due to my family’s loyalties/rivalries (and extended TV coverage), in addition to my Beloved Volunteers I watched Nebraska (oldest son), tOSU (brother), Cincinnati (nephew) and Bama (youngest son and sister). GBO 🍊🍊🍊

Normally, I don't bother with non-Vols teams. Once in a blue moon, I might watch Memphis or Vanderbilt because I want to see a Tennessee team beat anybody else. For that, I'd even watch MTSU Blue raiders.

Not really. I always prioritize watching CFB over most things so just watched basically the same amount as always

I watched more this year then any other year. But probably because I stated online betting on them this year. I didn't join a fantasy league this year. So betting on the games made me have some skin in the game. It was fun, amd I lost a bunch of parlays due to upsets and players not playing like they did the rest of the season, but overall pretty much broke even. I had fun, and never spent more then I could afford. So win, win.

in general I watch more games when TN is good. The ups and downs of how other games affect our standings has always made the sport more entertaining.
