I just recently had a checkup, and my doctor was all in a tizzy about my cholesterol levels. Get some blood work done, and that’ll tell you a lot. The advice I got in a nutshell, was to eat better and get more exercise. Get my blood redone every 90 days. All we can do is all we can do.
Do a 10 day juice only reset. Your doc won't believe how those cholesterol numbers drop. Find someone who sells cold press green, beet, carrot juices for example. Start your day with the standard lemon, honey, cayenne you can make yourself. End your day with almond milk for protein. Middle days (4 - 6) are rough but you'll get through it.

Morning: 12 oz lemon honey cayenne
During day: 4, 12 oz raw juice
Late evening: 12 oz almond milk (I made with fresh almonds processed in water with some cinnamon)

Afterwords you'll feel great and you can start a maintenance diet.

Stay away from statins.

I'm not a doc but have first hand experience with this cleanse.

My numbers before and after 10 day cleanse.

You don’t want low cholesterol. Juice cleanses are useless. Fruits and vegetables are completely unnecessary for a human diet. All you need is meat and diary products. Juice cleanses are nothing but a sugar over load.

Tell me more about diary products. I've heard that processing your feelings is good for your overall health and well being.

I'll see if I can find my before and after lab numbers and post. My doc and a corp trainer told me they'd never seen such positive change.

Sure there are sugars in veggies but I'm not convinced you'll overload on green, beet, carrot juice.

Mine was 20 points high and their answer was a scrip. Doctors always try to fix things with a pill. I refused, cut out fatty foods, started everyday with oatmeal, cut simple carbs, all sugar and started doing 30 minutes of cardio a day.(bike)
Also started a supplement of red yeast rice and CQ10. Six months later my blood work was 20 points below.

How did your BMI change almost 7 points in 1 month?

The decrease in bad cholesterol was significant as well. The before and after biometrics were done at the same lab. All I did was the 10 day cleanse and 10,000 steps daily. I'm just a guy who has come to dislike/distrust the medical profession and doing what I can to control my destiny on this rock. I've got eternity covered.

I'm not questioning the results you posted at all, with the exception of the BMI. Either they measured your BMI incorrectly on the initial exam or the one a month later. There is no cleanse on the planet that is changing your BMI that drastically in a month. Assuming you are an average size male, that is equivalent to losing 50ish pounds.

I'm not sure how BMI is calculated. Thinking height weight waste. I'm 6'.

I personally know people who are so full of it they may lose 50lbs after a cleanse.

Even coming from you, this is about the stupidest take I've ever heard. And you've had some pretty dumb ones.

My cholesterol has always been what the industry considers high (200+). I had a wholistic doc years ago. Loved the man! He explained the drug companies kept lobbying to get the target lowered so they could sell drugs. I've confirmed this with other med pros over the years

Red yeast rice works. Just eat sensible, walk/exercise, annual checks. Enjoy life and avoid the meds as best you can.

I started a low-carb diet last week and may change to full keto. My goal is to have abs by spring. The first couple of days were tough, and I'm sure if I cut the carbs completely it will suck again.
