Mods, feel free to move this as you see fit. Did a quick search and didn't see anything along the same lines
Let me preface all this by saying I am a first year teacher and first year coach. I realize that those 2 things play a part in what I am about to say.
However, it seems like the last few years I've gone "downhill" a lot faster than I should have. I'm getting older but not old (will be 27 this year). My metabolism seems to be fine in that I really can eat what I want and when I want and I haven't gained more than a few pounds since my freshman year in HS (175-180 for 8 straight years).
The one thing I have noticed is my fatigue levels and libido have taken the biggest hits (sorry if TMI). We're celebrating 2 years in a couple of days and year 2 was a drastic change for the both of us.
I've been talking with my peer teachers and their ideas were mainly about diet. Cut out carbs, cut out dairy, etc.
I know I have a lot of ex-athletes on here that have probably gone through the same thing. Just curious what others felt worked for them.
