TN has not traveled to T-Town to play bama with the same coach since before saban was hired in 2007! After Saturday that is four straight trips to bama with a different coach.

Last four trips to T-Town to play bama since Saban was hired in 2007:

2007 Fulmer (41-17)
2009 Kiffin (12-10)
2011 Dooley (37-6)
2013 Butch (?)

Talk about need for stability. Saban has never faced the same TN coach two trips in a row to T-Town.

:huh::huh::huh:

Wonder who Butch will face in T-Town in 2015?

Nice. I hope that it is anyone that is not named Saban. I would love to see the meltdown that would happen in Alabama. Every bama fan that I talk to is in total denial that he will stay there forever. They claim "he said he is not leaving." :eek:lol:

They seem to think that Texas has no appeal and that Texas will not be able to pay more than mighty bama. Oh how I would love to see their faces if it comes to be they are WRONG! $ hahahaha, no appeal hahahaha.

easier to win over there with more resources, in state talent, and easier schedule. He could be the best football coach that ever lived. in theory

...here comes the bama homers to make their case

I also think he would like to go somewhere outside the sec and make them a powerhouse to tear down the sec he helped build

I think this is the main reason Bama thinks we suck so bad. They won't know what to expect when TN shows up with a real coach that the players believe in and will fight for. TN hasn't traveled to T-Town with such a coach with the full support of his team and fan base since 2003. GO VOLS!

I think the lure of winning championships at three different schools and the what that means for his legacy will be too great for Saban to resist. He doesn't seem like a guy that like to rest on his success. Or at least I hope so. Bring Texas back from the brink will solidify his status as the one of if not the greatest coach ever.

THIS!!

Saban has no more loyalty to that redneck abyss than he had to MI St, LSU, or Miami. He says he is too old to go somewhere and start over, but he swore up and down he wasn't leaving Miami just days before he did. They will burn that place to the ground when he leaves!

I feel more confident having Butch lead us into DBS than the past 2.
This. I don't know if this is the best coaching staff in America but you'd be hard pressed to find harder working group of coaches. Just watching the media sessions of guys like coach Bajakian and Azzani you can see the bags under their eyes from where they've been burnish the midnight oil watching film and preparing for this game.
