Anyone think we maybe going into a different direction in recruiting instead trying so hard in FL with all the competion with the FL schools we go back to our bread and butter from the 90's and kill the state of Ga. I was thinking this because we let Gran get away. We may put CEO in Florida and get what we get and pick up a few more coaches to recuit GA more.

No. We will go where the best players are. This staff will recruit all 50 states if they feel it is necessary.

There is too much talent in the state of Florida, some will go to Tennessee as well as other OOS schools. But the majority of that talent will stay in the state. I think Luc to FSU is just an eye-opening experience for the few Tennessee fans that thought Lane could come into the state and pull in a bunch of top-notch Florida players every year. He will certainly get his though.

You sure thought so with your huge list of players you thought Kiffin would get from Fl...I know Luc was on that list.

I am pretty confident we'll hire someone who has ties to the state of Florida.

After CLK's first year in the SEC, the one thing that he has said is that we need to get faster. So if there is any change recruiting wise, it is the need to recruit speed.

HAHA! Gator trolls, fresh off their glorious SECCG performance. They showed Tebag crying like a girl on the jumbotron!!! Wow! didn't just get beat, they got trucked!!! David Kelly from UCF will replace Wilson and recruit Florida. Billy G. might want out once Cinnc. beats their behinds in Sugar Bowl, Tebag accends to wherever and Cryer gets exposed as a Donovan two trick pony!!!!

I have no problem with Coaches leaving form better opps, but I only wished we could have keep the staff intact for 2-3 years to get all of the recruits filled. That would have time for the recruits to want to come because of the success instead of "something special is happening" at UT. But dont cut CLK short, he has a very good relationship with the recruits. Just Time, give it to him:rock:

Changing recruiting tactics that way is one reason the previous staff is no longer at UT. CLK and the other coaches said they will continue to go after the best players in the nation no matter what, and that means staying in FL and hanging in there for the whole battle.
