If you take the highest ranking one of the 4 services:
We have 20 recruits, 2 five stars, 15 4 stars and 3 three stars
We have 6 of the top 100 and 13 of the top 300.
We have 8 ranked in the top 10 at their position.
I know this is an optimist view but the class looks pretty good to me.

If you took the same approach how would it look for our rivals?

Not sure for everybody but UGA does have 10 top 100 players on the composite which averages the rankings of the various services. We've got 4: Ross, Matthew's, Stayley and Warren.

I was reading about why Dylan Raiola decided to stiff UGA and go to Nebraska. One of the things he said was that he didn't want to be "just another cog in the machine". He wanted to go somewhere he could make an impact. That's one of the great things that UT can sell kids, especially really good ones.

I think Nebraska threw an incredible amount of money at him and basically guaranteed him the starting job. Plus his Dad went there and his Uncle coaches there.

Really think it’s about hitting on those linemen in high school and the QB position. You can grab a few positions via the portal and do fine there but you have to be successful in recruiting high school players particularly linemen to be in the playoffs imo. I don’t want to diminish the other positions but you can have some level of success in this conference with mediocrity at a lot of positions; you can’t be successful without trench players.
