I've never seen Peyton Manning play in the NFL. It may be my last chance this August 30th when the Broncos visit the Cardinals for the last preseason game.

My concern is that I buy tickets and Manning only appears in 0-1 series. It would be worth it in my mind if he played 2 series, and a total fail if he played 0. I wouldn't even want to go, even if I already had the tickets.

How likely is he to play 2+ series?

Usually the last preseason game is the worst. I would guess he will play, probably won't play much. Maybe 2 series max.

2 max, probably one for Manning considering everything. I'd say it still worth it to see him in person. You can probably scalp tickets cheap

If tickets are absolutely dirt cheap/free, go for it, if not I wouldn't bother

However airfare between the two should only be a couple hundred bucks, I'd make a weekend of it

That's maybe where I'm leaning. I guess I'll wait to see what the media is saying about how much he'll play and maybe go scalp if it sounds promising.

I did see Manning in college a few times, but never in the NFL. Got to make it happen.

he has to get some live work in. I'd risk it plus it's worth it to just go see the stadium.

there's always the game at SD. Very easy to get to from Phx

Got family coming in for Thanksgiving, and planning on going to see Cards/Rams that Sunday, so I'll see the stadium. I like your SD idea.

BTW, someone got shot in the stadium parking lot after the Raiders preseason game on Friday. Glendale is supposed to be pretty nice, right?

Glendale wasn't really the place to be when I was there (I didn't like the west side much at all). However I also remember the football stadium being nothing more than a football painted in the middle of a field. It was a hike to get out there 2-3 days a week from the east valley while it was under construction. We supplied quite a bit of stuff for the Coyotes and Cards stadiums. Unfortunately I was leaving when all the other stuff was going up

I don't like going to NFL games. But I did go once to see Peyton play. It was OK

I'll be at the Atlanta game this year. Pretty pumped. But I would most likely avoid preseason, and at some point attempt a trip to Denver if I was on the WC. (And I realize that's expensive, but Denver sounds like a fun time.)
