sorry, guys....I'm the biggest and most optimistic Vol Fan there is. but I am also a coach-- and the types of things I'm seeing out of this Team are the sort of things I would be absolutely LIVID over.If kids of mine continued to do things like that, As well as the off the field stuff, as Well as the fact that (if I were fulmer) I'd be making a FAT salary.....my job would indeed be in question.

Multiple Defensive Offsides....once, is understandable. but more than that, is lack of discipline.

Poor Tackling....again, isn't that what spring practice is for?

Special Teams....Easily the most Glaring problem. but isn't this something that can be done efficiently (at least without MISTAKES) with Practice?

Very simply, the things I'm seeing are things that are due to Lack of Discipline and Lack of Attention to Detail. and, as a coach myself, those types of things are unacceptable, and should be snuffed out before they start to become a real issue.

Does the National Title give Fulmer a lifetime pass? Should it?

Add to that receivers who run he wrong pattern.
Fullbacks who dont pick up audibles.

Not to mention we had 2 offensive drives today for over 5 plays.
2 drives.
Less then 50 yds rusing.

Y'all..........this loss was tough. Heck EVERY loss is tough. BUT, there is no law carved in stone that says if we fire ( insert coach of your choice)
that we will do any better. A LOT of college football programs would probably KILL to have CPF as their head coach when you consider his winning percentage.

with the exception of a few flashes of brilliancy, this is what UT football has been for a while. the D has always had tackling problems and things of that nature. My thing is 1.UT does not develop offensive talent 2. does not develop plays to the strength of their players 3. an OC or any coach for that matter has to be creative and have flavor...and we(UT) are as vanilla as it comes. fulmer will always be a solid coach, but never a great one because he doesn't let his nuts hang(actually they may be in his stomach)
