Kenny Hall looks disinterested out there. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the injury or if he's the only player that the Pearl situation is actually taking a negative toll on.

He looks lost and I'm not sure if he can recover. We need this kid moving forward, especially with Swiper out for the year.

He's still recovering from the injury, and since when is Renaldo out for the year?

I read on Hoopsville that his injury may be season ending.

An injury shouldn't make a player look like he doesn't enjoy playing.

Then he or the coaching staff need to reevaluate the situation and give those minutes and fouls to someone who's head is in the game.

I'm not complaining here, BTW. We have plenty of bodies.

If you're hurting, sit it out, nobody will be mad.

I wouldn't go that far. Seems out of line coming from a fan of the game. I highly doubt Hall would be playing if he didn't show up and participate in every practice. Pearl isn't going to put someone on the court who doesn't give 100% effort in practices and in games. What's your basketball IQ? How do you know you even know what your talking about?

Hall will be okay once he heals up from the injury. It's just taking some time to get back in flow. As for Renaldo, if he's out for the year then his ankle must have been cut off.

Doesn't matter what "mine" is. I wasn't the one accusing Hall of being "lazy" or being "dumb" when it comes to basketball IQ. So don't try to spin this around and make me out to be the jerk who decided to say something out of line about a player such as Kenny Hall. The kid is coming back from an injury, give him a break. That's all I'm saying. He doesn't perform in great fashion against Pitt and all of a sudden he's lazy and dumb??? Give me a break. Actually give Kenny Hall a break.

Kenny Hall was the first man off the bench saturday against Pitt. It is laughable to think if pearl is confident enough to put the guy in as the sixth man in our biggest game of the year that he is having any problems with work ethic or attitude.

well if hes still feeling the affects of an injury maybe he shouldnt play yet i just said my opinion GET OFF MY BACK!!!!!!!!! it wasnt out of line at all i was excited when we got him i wasnt sayn he doesnt deserve to play the game of bball just sayn he was lazy and doesnt have the bball IQ of say harris or fields and williams i did not once say he is dumb so GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad you realize how it feels just a little to have someone say something about you or your character. Maybe you get a little sense of what athletes nowadays go thru. Because I know for a fact that these guys do read what UT fans say on message boards such as these. Ps, if you look at your quote, I believe you will see the word "dumb". So yes you did say he was "dumb" when it comes to his basketball IQ. That's all I'm saying. We all at point in time use a poor choice of word(s) when talking about people, heck even Pearl made the mistake of accidentally referencing "weapons" when referring to our guys having special skills and playing abilities on the court. Poor choice of words like I said. Whether we mean it or not. Once it's out there, you can't go back. We as UT fans shouldn't be throwing out negative remarks or bashing our players. Our UT basketball players, coaches, and University for that matter has been drug thru the mud enough. Rather let's praise our guys and support them on and off the court. That's all I'm saying. I'll also apologize to you, if you think I'm trying to single you out. We've all done it. I've done it. Anyways those are my thoughts.

He looks like he's grown. I know thats offtopic but just an observation. He looks a few inches taller.

If hall looked lost, its because he has practiced exclusively at the 5 position for more than a month in anticipation of having Maymon at the backup 4. When Swiper got hurt and Little Pearl had to play at the 3, Hall had to backup Harris at the 4.

He was interested enough to get 5 fouls in only 4 minutes, (which still blows my mind). But you don't foul out without giving effort.

I think he's been a little sloppy so far. But he'll grow this season and be a great contributor by Feb.
