Disturbed/Korn concert in Nashville

Anyone else at the Disturbed/Korn concert in Nashville? Disturbed just finished and I must say I was pretty disappointed; they performed great and all but they only played about 50 minutes. I'm not nearly as big a Korn fan. They are supposed to be co-headliners but Korn probably play much longer.

Is it time for the state fair already?

Probably some attractive people at that show. Lots of hockey-puck earrings?

There were a lot of interesting looking people to say the least. And by interesting I mean hideous.

It turned out Korn only played about an hour as well. They were actually better live than I thought they'd be but I still would have rather Disturbed gotten another 30 minutes to perform.

does Draiman still used that stupid, tired bit of coming out of a poorly made wooden box type thing to open the show?

The stuff off of their first album was better. That was the roughest mosh pit i've ever been in.

I don't think they've done that for a while now. 2 years ago they opened with "Perfect Insanity" and he came out in a straight jacket. It was ok, kinda cheesy but I guess it fit with the song.

Their opening now is actually pretty cool, and he just runs on stage.

I actually like Disturbed's first album the least. I like a few good songs but most of it is just too much simplistic nu metal crap. Their later albums they put in solos and it feels like they actually put effort into it. I mean "Stupify" is pretty cool live but really it's a pretty stupid song.

i've never been a fan of disturbed. i've always thought they were pretty awful. korn was pretty good in the 90's. hardly ever listen to them now.

I can listen to Disturbed sometimes and other times they make me want to kill small kittens. Korn is ok. Some good songs, but some that suck.
