The 90s hype/rap during the game being played isn't very good... Please play more of what gets the players hype...

The sound / PA system has always terrible in Neyland. Charlie Daniel’s wasn’t on a hot mic for half of his set 15-20 years ago. Sterling is hard to understand. Even just the announcements over the PA are a mess. I guess it’s hard to dial it in when the stadium is empty and recreate it with a full stadium on Saturdays.

We had season tickets for 19 years beginning in 89. It seems like charlie D was almost a regular there playing the same patriotic song. At least once or twice every season.
Yeah, we went from having the UT band provide traditional fight songs and their version of popular music to a bunch of very loud noise coming from a large screen(They were so proud of that screen) at one end of the stadium. The noise was ill timed, odd and annoying. Much of what was shown on the screen was "crummy commercials". I always thought that the UT Drama Dept had been put in charge of the game music/noise.
It was at least part of the reason we gave up our season tickets and quit going to games.

Thanks for proving my point

Tell me you're a boomer without actually telling me that you're a boomer

Another reason was our parking space. We went from being in the garage next to the stadium to a lot next to the sewage treatment plant. It was great for tailgating!
We requested another lot, and they moved us to a space where we had to catch a bus or walk quite a way to catch the train.
At least the urinals leaked (or drunks missed their target) and there was a long line. I understand that has been corrected.
I suppose the loud noise kept my DW from talking nonstop.
I'm not complaining about the music of the day. It was the loud screeching sounds and other unidentifiable sounds. I guess the jumbotron was a new toy at the time. 1999?

I know, whine, whine, whine.

Have the visiting recruits complete a survey about their interest. whatever song or band they like most is what should be played
