I believed he got offered more for MIB3, and also wants to continue to be "family fun actor" with his kids fame growing.

I wanted Chris Tucker to take the part. He was QT's 2nd choice but passed on it to star as a mental patient opposite Robert DeNiro in a "comeback" role. But I think Jamie Foxx will be great in it. He's better for the part than Will Smith, IMO.
