No. I believe they will lose one. Dungy doesn't seem like the type of guy to go for the undefeated season... He'd rather go for the super bowl.

That being said, if they win the Super Bowl I will still readily call the 2005 Indianapolis Colts the greatest single season football team of all time.

There going to lose to the Cardinals because they will rest there players...and well the cardinals will have nothing to play for...but they will still win the SB

I've got'em losing this week to San Diego.

SD needs to win, after their pathetic result against the Dolphins yesterday.

I have not seen anyone that can beat them if they are on. The Colts are playing on another level this year.

Actually its a split issue with me. Selfishly I was my Dolphins to hold on the the distinction. But at the same time, to see any team...especially with one of Tennessee's own go the distance speaks to why we are sports fans at the most basic level. Either way it pans out its something intresting to follow. :twocents:

The colts will go undefeated because Dungy will play his starters. He said yesterday in an interview that they still had some improvment to do and he needs to keep his players in a rythm. Sitting them for a whole game would not be keeping the rythm.

19-0 all the way!!!

Plus who cares about the old dolphins... This whole year has brought out how big of jerks all of them are. And if the colts do go undefeated it will be a bigger deal than the dolphins because there will be 2 more games on the record.

"Dont talk to me when youre in my neighborhood, talk to me when youre on my block."... That has to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

I'd like to see them 19-0, but if any team beats them it may be Seattle. I forsee the starters going 2 quarters plus against the Cardinals if they are undefeated going into that game. Colts can still beat the Cards by at least 10. Colts beat Chargers by 14, but Seattle will be close. It'll take an all out effort by the offense and defense. Otherwise I see a shootout like the Cincy game with the Colts winning by 4. :eek:k:

I would love for them to be 15-0 and then rest everybody during the Cardinals game. That would show everyone that it was there if they wanted it but that the Super Bowl is more important. Also, 15-0 is more than Miami's 14-0 anyway....and after the Super Bowl...they would still have more wins than the Dolphins....18-1 compared to 17-0...

Well we do know the starters will play full force against the Chargers this Sunday. We don't know what will go on in Seattle as the Seahawks are pretty much in the same situation we are except they're not undefeated still. I think we'll play our starters at least the first half if not the entire game if we're 14-0 going into the game. If we win that game I think the starters will only play the first half against the Cards and that's probably all we'll need to play them to win the game.

I feel the same way Dan does. I want the Dolphins to hold the record, but if I had to choose one team to beat it, it would be the Colts since an ex-Vol will be leading the way.

I think they play full throttle this weekend, because a team like SD could be a handfull in the playoffs with LT...if they beat them this weekend, it could pretty much eliminate them from the playoff picture....

Seattle however, that game for some reason just sticks out as a game to lose. 1. the 'hawks have a great RB and pretty good qb with capable receivers. the D is opportunistic, but not overpowering. 2. it's in Seattle, west coast trips are tough for East coast teams. 3. could be a super bowl preview, and given that neither team will need the game so to speak, both could be very vanilla on offense.

And as for Zona, well, i think the colts could beat them anyway...so i say 15-1 and win the super bowl....

But as many stated, if there is one guy that i could wish go undefeated and get the ring, it'd be Peyton. That would solidify his legacy in football history, and all this "big game" fodder he gets critisized about would vanish....

I dont see why dungy doesnt just go ahead and crush the crap out of the Seahawks....

The way I see it, they are probably going to be the ones they see in the playoffs. Why even give them a thought that they can hang with you. You crush them and there spirits next week and its all over.

How come the choices were limited to 16-0 World Champs, 15-1 World Champs, 15-1 Runner-up, 15-1 Lose in playoffs? They could go 16-0 and lose in the first round of the playoffs...

Also, looks like I am the only one who doesn't see the Colts in the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, until Peyton proves to me that I can believe in him in a big game, I cannot put my faith in the Colts Super Bowl chances.

There are some athletes who are always clutch (Montana, Jordan, Jeter (I hate the yankees,) etc.) and there are some who always choke. The Colts can't win if Manning chokes, period. I predict the Colts go down in their first playoff game, Peyton contributing 2 TDs and 3 INTs.
