Do the coaches and players at UT read or post at this message board?

I suspect a few players and coaches have drifted in here, possibly even posted messages here. Anyone else have an opinion?

I know there was a debate at one time, that all these Fire Sanders posts might have at an impact on Sanders resignation......

i would say players have gotten on here before and read some posts but i highly doubt they have actually every posted a message and the coaches probably chalk pretty much all of us up to morons that dont know any better about football and dont even bother giving sites like these a second thought because there is no possible way they can please everybody on these types of sites mainly because they have enough to worry about much less concerning themselves with people that dont have any pull within the program

I think you hit the nail on the head. Coaches are not involved in these formats. However, I think that there are some pretty smart football knowledgeable people on here, maybe some high school coaches or players, I myself played 12 seasons from age 6 to Senior in High School. Way to small to play in college.

I should probably take a jab about UT students and faculty not having the smarts to use a computer but that would be inaccurate in light of the recent success that online date-your-cousin matching services have enjoyed. That aside, I doubt that anyone "inside" the program ever visits this site. They are all too busy working on dropping passes, fumbling inside the 10, etc. :banghead:

No coach would really have the time or thick enough skin to post on a message board.

I've seen relatives of players or apparent signees post on message boards, but I doubt a player would post here for much the same reasons as stated above for coaches.

Someone recently on another thread commented how Herbstriet seems to echo some statements posted here. I think it happens, and more often than you'd think. I mean all you do is type in Vols message boards and click the link...the players do I'm sure and possibly some coaches occasionally.

I know some ex-players that do now. However, they weren't as prevalent when they were in school so they didn't then.
