Do the Irish even have a shot this weekend?

Against Penn State. I need a couple big upsets this week, and I am banking on Miami over Oklahoma. Is there a snowball's chance Weiss pulls the upset after looking so bad last week?

TCU is an option too.

Clausen must play great ball and that means almost no TOs. The ND D has to step up like we do, if not no chance.
1. Jimmy must play really well.
2. D plays better
3. ND gets the running game goin.

I dont think ND wins this game though.

I'm convinced PSU wont be that good this season. They don't have a history since that OC left of developing qbs. on the other hand clauson will throw at least 3 picks and PSU will win easily. go knows who wins the big-10.

I disagree. I think PSU could be VERY good this season. May even win the big 10, go undefeated, and play for the NC. But this weekend, yes, they will destroy ND.:)

How is TCU over Texas an Upset?

The Number 2 defense in the nation last year with everyone important returning, a solid O and coaching, and 5 straight wins vs. the Big 12. With Texas having a bad game last week it's a bit more of a challenge for TCU, but still.

ND has a shot to win, a very small shot, but they have an extremely huge shot to get their arses handed to them

I hope Jimmy will be crying by the second quarter. I'm sure by the second series we will see a repeat of the so cal high school championship game where he had a tantrum on the sidelines.

Penn State won't win by 30, and they won't finish top 3 in the Big Ten... But Notre Dame doesn't stand a chance. I see something like a low-scoring Penn State win. The game will be a lot more of a blowout than the score will indicate, but you know the media will play off of it, saying that Clausen played a tough game on the road in front of 100,000+. Whatever.

ND gets a couple more losses like last weekend and there is no way they wil be able to win the NC this year.

Notre Dame will be lucky to win 4 games. They better lose tomorrow though, I made a bet with a friend of mine that they would lose by at least 2 touchdowns
