Do we have to win the SEC tournament?

Do we have to win it to get into the NCAA tournament? Or will we be able to get in the with the wins over Pitt, and Nova, and Vandy twice.

You don't have to win the tourney.

I also believe you will beat ky this weekend.

I think we have to either:

1. Win last 2 regular season games, or

2. If we lose either of last 2 games, we need to at least get to the finals to get in

to win a trophy yes, to get in the NCAA's nope

but...if we win out regular season and win at least one or two in the tournament it should help our seeding in the big dance.

As long as we beat USC and win a game in the SEC Tournament - we will be in the dance.

I don't think we have to win it.....I do think we need to win a game or two in the SEC toruney though(epecially if we lose the last 2 games)

I think the only way we don't make the tournament is if we go 0-3 in our last 3 games.

If we beat USC and lose to Kentucky it would help to win a game in the tourney but I think we are in no matter what.

I think everyone who's worried about not getting in should look at the bubble teams and their ridiculously bad resumes. That should give you assurance that, win one more and it's a lock.

Who wins the tie breaker between UT and UGA if we both finish with the same conference record?(For SEC tourny seeding)

I think you have to be .500 in SEC regular season play. This may be the one sort of informal requirement the committee wants to maintain moving into the future. If you lose the last two regular season games, UT imo might have to at least make the finals of the SECT to get in.

I'm looking forward to winning out- then being knocked out 1st or 2nd round SEC, going into the dance with tremendous uncertainty...

According to some, Bama is a bubble team and they beat UT. I for one am very worried that this team won't make the dance. Ut needs to win out for the rest of the regular season and I will feel much better. If they dont win out then yes I think they need to get to atleast the finals of the SEC Tourny. JMO

Bama beat us without our best player also...Bama is out as of right now and we are in...we win atleast 1 more...we are a lock
