... Or some variation?

What we've seen so far has been very vanilla. Do you expect to see trickery or unique formations?

I'm willing to bet anything we see quite a bit of trickery this year from Butch.

I expect to see some crazy plays. Especially against Florida, uga or scar. Leave it all on the field. Nothing to lose, everything to gain

I hope we don't have to resort to that junk to move the ball.

idc what we do as long as we move the ball.

AJ Johnson can run it. Pig can run it. Quez can run it. Lane can run it. Croom,Dallas can block at WR. Bowles had the ball in his hands running in HS. Ayres or Bullard at TE with Jackson on the line could come in for added blocking.

Why not use our OL?

I believe we will see something to that effect, why not give future opponent something to waste there time thinking about. Plus if it works even better for us.

Being creative with your plays is not junk. If it surprises the other team and it works. It's creative and brilliant. If we all think the way you do. We'd still be lining our soldiers up shoulder to shoulder and walk toward our enemy like the civil war. Because it was the "gentlemanly" way to fight. Things change. Times change. The way to win changes. If it didn't. It would be boring and outdated. Welcome to the new way. Nothing in the college football rule book states you have to hand off to a specific guy or pass to a specific target. As long as you play within the rules. Anything that works makes the game more interesting and fun. If we went 13-0 and never ran the same play twice. I would still be proud of my team. Go Vols!!!

That's not really what I meant. I really like a lot of the newer offensive schemes and their ability to create mismatches. It was my perception that we went into the "beast" package last year because we did not have a running game capable of moving the chains, especially in short yardage situations. My perception may wrong. I would be fine with using it because we want to, not because we have to.

This. He has used quite a few trick plays in the last few seasons at Cinnci.

Especially when you're limited on playmakers and depth, trick plays can keep you in the game.

All good fellow Vol. In the end. We are all in this together. Win or lose. But I am ready to get back to winning!!!

Please no

Why not if it works and causes d coordinators to scheme for it?

People like you kill me .... smh...

I'd rather see a cloud of dust and 2 yds with a punt on every fourth down. Heck lets kick field goals every chance we get. That's how Fulmer did it and it worked...

Blah blah blah...

He is saying that he hopes that we don't have to resort to that, as in, nothing else is working, lets try some trickery. At least I think that is what he is saying.
I'm all for it. It keeps your opponents guessing.

When Pig shows consistency at playing any position then go for it..
