Do you think that playing LSU yesterday helped us or hurt us? If we had a bye, I am not sure how we would have responded when Ole Miss went 6 for 6 from 3 to start the game. I haven't seen this anywhere else so I thought I would start it. Merge if necessary.

Who can say?

I think the main benefit is that you have more practice shooting on those goals. It didn't help Hopson, that's pretty clear.

I think it helped because the way we played against LSU yesterday is exactly how we would of played against Ole Miss today.

It helped. Don't know what was up yesterday with all the concrete feet, but movement was better today. Not where it needs to be, but was better. Shooting was much better, as well. That may have come from yesterday's whatever you want to call that ugly thing.

Yeah I mean our RPI took a little hit, but it would have been worse to lose this game. There was nothing we could have done about the ridiculous SEC seeding so the best thing to do is win. I personally think it helped us get more of a feel for the arena (expect Hopson). I have no idea where Scotty went...

I think it helped momentum wise especially after the Ole Miss game. I don't think Kentucky is too thrilled with playing us again.:eek:k:

If playing more games + the addition of playing uk again hurts our RPI, then the RPI is a joke.

hopson just needs to let the game come to him instead of hurrying up everything that he puts up. he seems to me that if he misses he's first couple of shots then he's really too tentative to try to break down the defense like he should be doing. thats hopsons strength is driving to the basket and using his size to create his own rythym

I don't think it matters. In a conference tournament you're going to play some bad teams especially if you're a high seed.
