Do you think the Leach firing was an E.S.P.N. conspiracy?

I'd like any comments on what you guys think was really the reason Leach got fired. I know there was probably some wrong done on his part. But we all know how powerful and controlling anyone with connections to E.S.P.N. can be. It just seems like it's getting rushed through to me .Thoughts????

It's quite simple why Leach got fired:

1) He took TT to court in an attempt to override his suspension.
2) He was due an $800,000 bonus check the day after he was fired.

I just feel like A. He's the Bobby Knight of football (great coach but sucks @ treatment of his players) or B. The university is afraid to buck The James family & (E.S.P.N.) while also seeing a chance to re-coup some greenbacks.
But seems a shame that nobody had even looked @ Texas Tech as even having a football team before the 10 years or so before Leach came. It just bothers me. I guess I just can't get past the ties to E.S.P.N. this involves, because I can't stand the network. They seem to constantly hate on our beloved VOLS...
