Well, they put them in front of TN. If it had been one of the NCAA darlings; ND, USC, FSU, !TX!, that would not have happened. The playoff committee proved last year that they are willing to put Bama ahead of a team that defeated them during the regular season. I would not put it past the committee to do it to Texas.
I kind of want to see it happen again so that the other UT can see what they signed up for when they agreed to let Birmingham pick the refs next year.
No way it SHOULD happen.UGA is in either way.
The whole thing is a farce if Bama wins and an SEC team gets in.
They haven’t played anyone this year to prove that they are the best team and only 12 of them 29 wins are relevant. How do you not put Bama in if they knock off UGA? They are clearly the best team in the country and have won 29 straight.
Yeah... it IS a farce. Next year ain't gonna be any better. just a lot mo' moneyNo way it SHOULD happen.
Wash won and if Texas, Michigan, and FSU win then it’s 3 undefeateds and a one loss conference champion that beat Bama in Tuscaloosa. If Bama wins then they shouldn’t go in over Texas and GA shouldn’t go in over Bama or a 1-loss Texas conference champion.
