I can't imagine it hasn't crossed his mind at least once and I don't blame him at all. Especially with hearing rumors how his dad isn't happy with Bruce and Tennessee. I was at the game on Saturday and I saw Tobias' dad in the stands. He looked disgruntled throughout the entire game. He only clapped when his son scored, but most of the time he sat there with a disapproving look on his face and shaking his head.

I highly doubt he has considered transferring. It would be pointless for him to leave, sit out a year just to play his jr year when he could stay here and be playing in the League after next year.

And just because his dad may not like it here, doesn't mean Tobias doesn't love it here.

he'll stay here one more year and then he'll be drafted in the first round in 2012. all according to the plan.

Toby didn't have a very good game imo. His dad is intense and that is a good thing. He wants them to play well and he wants Tobias to play well and neither occured Saturday. The Vols don't pass and distribute the ball and neither does Tobias. M. State and the guy guarding him did a good job shutting down his dribble drive on Saturday.

If you saw the Vols play against Pitt and then saw them lose at home to Miss State you should look disgruntled.

Also, it's great that his dad makes a number of the games here in Knoxville. Can't be easy coming down from New York.

His first interest is always going to be his son. He did however do a lot to try and get the crowd into the game and yelled to the entire team that the game was theirs to take. He may be disgruntled with the team and Pearl, but I don't think its as bad as some are making it or any worse than any other fans' feelings right now.

no fan of basketball would sit and watch our half court offense with a smile on their face. I doubt it was Tobias' play that had his dad looking disgruntled but more about the low quality of basketball the entire team plays for extended lengths of time. Poor shot selection, poor ball movement, poor screening, etc etc etc

He sat right behind me most of the game and was also yelling to give tobias the ball every time they came down the court. No matter where he was on the floor.

That's pathetic, if true. Tennessee hasn't met expectations partly because I thought we'd be getting more out of Harris. He's definitely one of our better players, but I was expecting more than 14 ppg at 43% shooting from the #1 PF in the country. Great rebounder, though.

With the single exception of when Hopson had it, the guy makes an excellent point.

Let's face it, he screwed up. Should have gone to Cuse. Pearl has produced ZERO nba players. Don't get me wrong, selfishly I'm glad TH plays for UT, but don't kid yourself, he'd be making millions next year if he went to Cuse or even the ville.

No he wouldn't. He'd still be a skilled tweener who needs to develop his game and plays limited defense aside from trying to block all shots.

And he sat right in front of me for the rest of the game. Like I said, his first interest is and always will be Tobias. I was just pointing out the fact that he did cheer on the team and other players when they did well.

Ah, didn't look like a tweener until the halfway point of the season when the wheels started to fall off and the team lost its identity. Now he's trying to do too mich and sucking at it. I agree he hasn't played well personally but that has more to do with teams scouting him better and Pearl not developing a counter to the opposing teams scouting report. Cuse and louisville have other players capable of taking the load off guys like Harris... Tennessee has Hopson and Harris. They crash on them two as soon as they touch the ball.

He's a NBA tweener. There are no big men in college ball, so he can play the 4. He'll be an undersized 4 in the league, but isn't athletic enough to play the 3 or overcome being undersized at the 4. That doesn't mean he is less talented or won't be a solid NBA player. He still has to develop his game to be decent.
