Did a little research into ESPN 150. Well here is your answer. Out of 150 top recruits, the SEC conference states contain 81 of the 150.

Ala.- 5
Ark.-3
Fla.-40
Ga.-18
Ky.-1
La.-7
Ms.-2
Tn.-1
SC-4

The rest of the country has 69 top recruits. These are some of the larger numbers out of whats left.

Tx.-20
Ca.-12
NC-6
OH-5
MI-2

like Lee corso said on NCAA football game. Florida is the speed state. However the big uglies usually dont get rewarded with stars and are probably the most important position on offense.

Interesting...Alabama's OL this year will consist of 2 5-stars, 2 4-stars, and 1 3-star.

Pos | Scout | Rivals - Player
LT | 4-star | 4-star - Carpenter
LG | 3-star | 3-star - Warmack
CT | 3-star | 3-star - Vlachos
RG | 4-star | 4-star - Jones
RT | 4-star | 5-star - Fluker

Carpenter = JuCo transfer (SR now) that was brought in to fill the hole left by Andre Smith's departure, because the highly ranked 5-star OT (now a RS-Soph) recruited to fill that hole so far hasn't lived up to the 5-star ranking.

Who, Tyler love?
Yeah. He's doing pretty well -- backup LT and might be ready to start by next season, but then again he might get beat out again by someone else by then. Fine young man, good size and works hard at FB, but the recruiting rankings apparently had him a bit over-rated.
