Dobbs will be good

Uh yeah.

And he beat the team that beat the team that just whipped us.

Keep trying to convince yourself we have a better option than a healthy Worley though. Dobbs proved with hard evidence tonight that we don't.

I'm not in the Worley blows camp but I think your kinda going to other end of the extreme with it. He has gotten better as the season has gone on and got a lot of help from North specifically against SC.

Dobbs got very little help from the OL and made some of the same mistakes Worley did early in the year.

All told Dobbs brings a dimension Worley cant. And I don't expect Worley to be the future QB. That doesn't mean he blows.

Dobbs is a sprouting bamboo shoot....if he is watered, he will grow.

Worley was the team leader. Say what you want about talent, but he led the team. With all the false starts and other dumb stuff tonight it didn't seem like the team responded well to Dobbs. Was he too cocky after last week (busting into O-line meeting to brag how he had em and was ready to lead them?)

The OLs lack of discipline and getting whipped at the point of attack had nothing to do with anything Dobbs did or didn't do. They have no excuse for a performance like that.

Dobbs made mistakes, but it's immediately apparent that he has a much bigger upside than Worley.

He could flick his wrist and throw the ball with more velocity than Worley can planting his foot and putting his entire weight into it. Not to mention the fact that he broke off a 33 yd run, the longest by a UT QB since Tee Martin.

Really getting a laugh out of all the people that truly believes that a healthy Justin Worley would've made a difference tonight, and I'm a Worley supporter. This loss comes down to lack of effort. We didn't come ready to win or even put up a fight. Dobbs made some bad decisions, but he didn't receive any help from his team either. The defense couldn't make a tackle to save their lives tonight, and our DB's got picked on all game long. And Josh Smith can't catch a ball if his life depended on it.

The line play was disappointing to say the least.

Am I the only one that thinks the OL is moving too damn slow? Josh was going wild back there motioning for the snap all game long and it usually wouldn't come for several seconds after he'd started asking for it, not to mention the massive amount of high and off-target snaps.

Stone, Tiny, and Ja'Wuan played like hot garbage tonight. Tiny, especially. Dude is losing $100,000 every time he commits a penalty.

Close to 300 yards. 62 percent completion rate. First start ever on the road as a true frosh against a top team team, little help from most of his teammates, and no first team reps until this week's practice. What more could this kid do to convince you?

Mizzou's D-line played lights out but other than Dobbs and a few others the team played baaadly. Our O-lines false starts were far too many and inexcusable given their experience. Those false starts killed drives as did drops and other penalties. Our D was freaking awful and a lot of that had to being outgunned but also injured.

Sure Dobbs made mistakes but many of you simply don't want to be convinced that Dobbs is good - and is probably going to be very, very. good.

This was a bad loss, Butch deserves tons of blame. I love Worley, but despite Dobbs errors tonight he clearly has more talent. His speed is better than I thought.

I totally agree with the assessment. I was at the game, and I was very impressed with Dobbs passing on timing routes. When receivers came out of their breaks, the ball was on them. For a freshman, I was very impressed to see that. Yes, he had his turnovers, but I saw a kid who was trying to make plays when everyone else was out for lunch. The O-line played somewhat suspect, but the receivers have to do better. They do not go all out on passing routes, and they do a poor job blocking for the run. My hope is that Dobbs will takeover the offense and command others to step up. With all due respect to Worley, Dobbs has more intangibles. The kid has a bright future if Jones can develop him.

How he keeps seeing the field is beyond me. He is a liability every game. The good thing is, its all on BJ.
Cause Azzanni is little more than a frat punk with his goatee and all, and Josh reminds him of one of his frat buddies.

If Croom dropped that many balls, he'd never see the field. Mizzou has 3 big WR's...so do we. Mizzou USES them...to at least spread the field and deters us from blitzing. We WON'T/DON'T. We play one of our Big WR's, Josh Smith, J. Johnson...a 5'8" WR, and Pig. Pig deserves to start, But our starting 3 should be North, Croom and Howard. When we go 4 wide, Harris should be the 4th

Dobbs was a contributor to the loss, as well. Until he learns to see more down the field other than the person he wants to throw to, he'll have problems. Numerous times, he zeroed in on his intended receiver that was covered and never saw two receivers that were wide open.

Driskel transferred to UT? I missed that news.

I saw some encouraging things from Dobbs last night. He needs to keep improving. He needs to learn to get down/ go out of bounds. The WRs need to help him out more. The defense doesn't need to make him play from behind.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
