I hope Dobbs (or Ferguson if he gets in) doesn't lay an egg then have everyone turn on him/them. For all the optimism, truth is, freshmen debuts are usually ugly for QBs.

It's one game, on the road, against a very good defense. The rest of the team needs to play lights out for us to have a prayer. Which is exactly what they didn't do last Saturday.

Well, it can take 4-8 weeks to heal. I tore a ligament in my left thumb awhile back and I had to wear a hard cast for about 6 weeks. Thankfully I didn't need surgery.

Well, this is interesting. We are once again at a crossroads for our program. Three things can happen: Either Dobbs comes out and performs astronomically (pun-intended) against our remaining four (five counting the bowl game) opponents and we win out. He performs well enough to beat Vanderbilt and Kentucky, which would make us 6-6 and get us to a bowl game. Or he tanks/gets hurt and our season goes down the drain.

Definitely don't think the last option will become a reality but I do think that we will have a hard time beating Auburn and Mizzou.

I am no medical expert, but could that time frame have to do with giving it time not just to heal but to get to the point where he isn't at so much risk to re-injure it? Healing and getting back to full strength are 2 different issues I would guess, but I don't know

I am not convinced the freshman are ready. feel free to flame me on Monday after we upset Missou. :)

He learned his high school play book in a day and of course that's just high school, but CBJ said in his interview after the bama game that he thinks Dobbs must have a photographic memory because he knows the plays well.

Man I hope I have to eat these words....BUT...if Dobbs or Ferguson had been ready for this I think we would have seen them before now....BUT..having said that...I hope the Freshmen QB's light it up....

I'm also one of many who said T.Bray would not be ready for tough SEC action until late in his sophomore year....I was wrong with that one, I guess....

Is it just me or is something fishy? Cause I remember the coaches 2 or 3 weeks ago say that both Dobbs and ferg was now ready to play!

Well if Dobbs is the man everyone thinks he is, then we on our way to a 8-4 season which was my prediction at the start of the season! So let's win out and get this party started!! GBO!!

To limit the shots on Dobbs vs. this Dline. They WILL come after him to try and rattle him.

If Dobbs goes down Riley has to come in and play and he is not 100%. Was reported by Hooker that he may have a hairline fracture in his foot. He can play with this injury if needed but in pain and a chance of making it worse so you would rather the freshman be able to heal up.

All I know with all these conflicting stories is Mizzu is gonna have one h*** of a time preparing for this game! Because we have been through that any 4 of our qbs could start!
