Wish Worley the best.

My man Major is dead on.
Worley has taken a lot of crap on and off of the field. This young man is the epitome of VFL. He led us to our first win over a ranked team in forever. Stop the criticism and thank this young man for what he has done. Chin up, young man. It ain't over til you say you are done!

At least he looks like he can toss some longer throws.

What is his studies major?

During the Ala Game broadcast, Tim Priest said on the plane returning from Oregon, Dobbs' seat-reading-light was the only one lit. TP said he was studying for an exam. I think TP said his major was aeronautical engineering ???

To limit the shots on Dobbs vs. this Dline. They WILL come after him to try and rattle him.

If Dobbs goes down Riley has to come in and play and he is not 100%. Was reported by Hooker that he may have a hairline fracture in his foot. He can play with this injury if needed but in pain and a chance of making it worse so you would rather the freshman be able to heal up.

Sounds like a stress fracture. It wouldn't be terrible if he played in terms of chances of getting seriously injured/making things worse but could slow down healing.

That will make him a rocket scientist...just like 90% of the posters on this board.

Man I hope Dobbs get off on the right foot. Wouldn't it be something if he could guide this team to a win. I can think of 3 freshmans had big wins in their careers. Ill start it off with Clausen beating Bama in 2000 and Ainge and Shaffer doing it in 04 against Florida lets hope we can add Dobbs to this list.

The "beast" package was a whole different HC and OC

This...and we all do realize this was utilized because our run game was not very good, particularly in short yardage, right?

AJ running the ball was somebody else's brainchild. I, for one, an fine with the way our run game has progressed.

Man, I still remember Clausen's helmet getting ripped off in that game...and him continuing through the play.

Dude might've run like Steven Seagal, but he was tough as nails & severely underrated, IMO.

This is great news. Dobbs has athleticism, a good arm, and most importantly, he is smart. He looked really good against Bama and I think he could make a huge difference in our offense. Even though Worley struggled at times, I still have respect for him for what he has done for us. He did lead us to a huge win over South Carolina too and I don't think he deserves to be criticized. I'm excited about our future and it keeps getting better and better.

The reason that Butch said that he would decide at the end of the week about who starts,is so Misery would have to prepare for both qb options. Now this loud mouthed ass has allowed our opponent two extra days to bone up on dobbs alone.Nice move jerk! Maybe you will be the first to report on something else(like your firing)

Jimmy Hyams ‏@JimmyHyams 28 Oct

Jones said he might play 2 QB system v missouri - whatever it takes to win. UT has forced 18 turnovers - had 17 last year.

Aerospace Engineering, actually. That means that he is in his Basic Engineering classes right now. They are hard enough without playing football. They are challenging even if you are extremely intelligent just because of the introduction of new information all the time.

This is an impressive young man.

well all you folks calling for worley to sit the rest of the year and go with the freshman are going to get your wish. #GodHelpUs

#GetWellSoon Justin, we will be needing you.

I am not convinced the freshman are ready. feel free to flame me on Monday after we upset Missou. :)

Jake said they were ready 2 weeks ago.
I'll accept, freshmen might not be better at this stage.
Certainly won't be worse though.

As somebody mentioned earlier, part of the reason Casey doesn't get quite as much love as his play warranted was the dude was kind of a d--k off the field.

Jimmy Hyams first with this info.....REALLY?????? :jawdrop:

If true Hope Dobbs has a GREAT Game but I can't help but think..
Be careful what you wish for!

.

What I wished for was Josh Dobbs or Riley Ferguson from day one, so the kinks would've been out long ago. With this game, I was expecting to lose, and now I have hope. If he throws 5 ints, I'm not out anything, and next week will be better.

Wow...somehow I never heard that. Heard it plenty about Bray, but not Casey...hmmm.
