Dear Patient,

Thank you for visiting me yesterday and sharing your fear but please allow me to reassure you that you are in fact fine.

If you recall back in 2009 you started to feel unwell, this carried on for a number of years until you finally had a heart attack in 2020. As you know, that it was a severe one and many predicted you would not even survive it.

But survive it you did and during the following two years you not only started to recover but in fact you progressed so well that you even started to feel as good as you did in the 1990s. Then last night happened, all the horrible memories came flooding back hence why you came to see me at the surgery.

But I am writing to assure you that whilst yesterday was not a good day, it was more of a "blip" and all the positive feelings that have so enjoyed these last two years will return, maybe even as early as next Saturday. So please stay calm trust in those who are acting for you.

I hope the above will help you put into reality the true situation although it was quite understandable why you suffered such anxiety yesterday.

Kind Regards

I sure hope so! The memories of disaster after disaster came flooding back for me for sure during this one.

A very well written and unique way to some up this situation. It is so amazing that someone who is so far away and has never had a chance to experience UT like most of us can be so insightful. I am very passionate about this team, admittedly too much at times, and your posts bring a breath of fresh air and a good dose of sanity to this board. Thanks for your contribution from an old band member. We will keep everything in a sinus rhythm and keep watch out for afib when things don't go as planned.

I'm just glad I'm not waking up to find myself a player this morning. Heup is going to have them needing a doctor after workouts!

Nice letter LV.

Let’s all step back from the ledge and reflect on what’s really important. We won! No! It’s wasn’t what we wanted or what we expect from this team or any of our teams, but just three short years ago, we was in a very ugly place that I don’t ever want to experience again.

I will take an ugly win EVERY single week if it’s a win. Sure is better than losing to Georgia St or Vandy. Food for thought.

Matter of fact! If you are able to recall our 98 championship team, they had a few ugly wins. It took a very long FG from Jeff Hall for us to even escape game 1. I’m sure no one after that game thought we would have won the NC. Let’s ride it out, we are still in a good place with a great staff and a great group of kids.

On a side note, LV, were you able to watch the game live or did you wait for Freak to put it on YouTube like I did? SEC channel is hard to get overseas!

It may be a good thing that we had the game we had this week and Florida had the one they had.
Tight vs BLOWOUT.
Hopefully, we will have a focused/good week of some serious practice……..

Id planned to go to bed (game started 11:30pm) but some kind soul put a link to You Tube on Volnation, so I did despite it freezing about every 10 minutes I was very happy to see the game in real time and then I could also listen to Bob Kesling after the game. Finally off to bed at 3:30am. By the way Freaks download is a far superior quality, thank you Freak

Well, people on here would have been complaining we ONLY scored 49 points.
