They will make considerably less money. After a short amount of time, good students will realize that they can earn more in other professions. It would take a special person to do all of the extra work to be a Dr., knowing that they will have a cap on the amount of money they can earn.
I wonder how long it would take for the quality of doctors in this country to fall.
